For mall goers who are familiar with Eastwood Mall, the name Cafeccino may ring a bell--a quaint yet posh looking cafe where food lovers of all ages can hangout and enjoy good tasting meals and drinks at decent prices.
The first time I heard of the name of the place was when we were given a discount coupon by my favorite DOME Cafe Shangri-la manager, Chris. The coupon was only usable at Cafeccino so I had to see the place myself just to know what's so special about it.
The first thing you'll notice about the place is the choice of lighting and furniture. It's a good mix of new and old, but not the kind that makes it look shabby and nothing but an experiment. It is also quite spacious and even has a section that can cater to meetings, and intimate engagements.
Cafeccino practically has the same menu as the DOME Cafe in Shangri-la except that they offer basil pesto, Vigan longganisa pasta, and creme brulee.

Raffles City (来福士广场)
A structure to behold both inside and out, Raffles City is one of the most popular shopping malls in Shanghai.
Situated just across People’s Square, Raffles City gives passers-by a relatively broad range for mall options. While the basement and topmost floors are predominantly for dining, the rest of the mall is packed with boutiques for men and women’s fashion.
If you’re the kind of person who wants to shop for the latest in fashion, or at least have a decent idea on what to buy next, Raffles City is definitely the right place to visit.
Raffles City is accessible via subway (lines 1, 2, and 8) having its entrance located at the basement, just next to the food court.
